Colby Olson
Colby has been a member of the Starr & Brown team since 2016. He and his wife enjoy their Spokane Valley home with their crazy cat Kona. Colby grew up in Ritzville before heading to Lewiston, Idaho where he graduated from Lewis-Clark State College. He is an avid golfer and a member of the Indian Canyon Men’s Club.

Brian Starr
Brian started in insurance career in 1985 after graduating from EWU. He has been involved in every aspect of the agency. He as served on the Board of Directors for both the Independent Insurance Agents and Professional Insurance Agents of Washington. Brian has been married to his wonderful wife for nearly 40 years and enjoys spending time with his family. You may find him riding his bike on the roads around Spokane.

Terry Starr
Terry became a team member of Starr & Brown in 2007 while finishing his college education at EWU. He married is loving bride in 2012 and have a school age daughter. They are animal lovers and you may find Terry out tending to cows in his spare time. You will also find him playing soccer both indoors and outside for several teams throughout the year, alife long passion he enjoys.

Katie Wiater
Katie has been a member of the Starr & Brown team since 2018.
She and her husband were both born and raised in Spokane and love the PNW. You will find her at the
lake in the summer, or on a bike in the fall. She loves to ski, and read a great book and is passionate
about spending as much time with her friends as possible.

Jenny Jones
Jenny is a Spokane native who went to West Valley High School and after graduation received her AAS degree in early childhood education. After working in the industry for many years, 2019 came and she realized a change was needed and chose to pursue her insurance license. She married her husband in 2010 and went on to have 2 children who are now grown. She also has 4 dogs and 3 stepchildren who are now a part of her family. In her spare time, Jenny likes quiet time, barbeques, Gonzaga basketball, and attending drag races with her boys.
Eldgen Brost
Eldgen specializes in individual and employee benefits. He served in the US Army as a combat engineer and diesel mechanic. He dabbled in banking and sold luxury Audi’s before joining Starr & Brown in 2012. Eldgen enjoys snowshoeing up Mt Spokane and challenging trails in his custom Jeep.
